Venice Biennale 2026: the final weeks of “In Minor Keys”

The 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, “In Minor Keys”, conceived by curator Koyo Kouoh, runs until 22 November 2026. The Biennale decided to realise the exhibition exactly as she conceived it. A new feature of this edition is the Visitors’ Lions, awarded by visitors’ votes rather than a traditional jury.
Visiting in autumn
From October, the Giardini and Arsenale open from 10:00 to 18:00 and are closed on most Mondays. Weekdays are quieter, and autumn light on the lagoon makes it a lovely time to visit. Many national pavilions are spread across the city, and most of the external pavilions are free to enter.
Planning
A water taxi from Marco Polo airport is the most comfortable way to reach your hotel. Staying near the Giardini or on the Grand Canal keeps the venues close.
