Every January, the World Rally Championship begins in Monaco. The 95th Rallye Monte-Carlo runs from 21 to 24 January 2027, with eighteen special stages on the mountain roads between the southern Alps and the Côte d’Azur, and the new WRC27 cars making their debut.
It is also the perfect excuse to discover Monaco in winter: calmer streets, clear light over the sea, and tables that are easy to find again after the summer.
The rally
Organised by the Automobile Club de Monaco, the Rallye Monte-Carlo is one of the oldest and most demanding rallies in the world, famous for changing conditions, from dry tarmac to ice and snow, often within the same stage. Spectating on the mountain stages means early starts, warm clothing and good planning; the service park and the finish bring the action back to the Principality.
We arrange drivers who know the mountain roads, comfortable vantage points where access allows, and warm lunches in the villages of the hinterland. Spectator access and any hospitality are managed by the organiser.
Monaco in winter
Out of season, Monaco is at its most elegant and relaxed. On 19 November, the Principality celebrates its National Day, the Fête du Prince. Long walks along the harbour, a lunch looking over Port Hercule, the Opera season, and day trips to Menton, Èze or the old town of Nice. It is also a good time for business visits, property viewings and appointments that are difficult to schedule in summer.
Where to stay
